PARAMORE

Based in America, this rock band formed in the year 2004 in Franklin, Tennessee. They released a debut album the next year, known as ‘All We Know Is Falling.’ This album was such a success that within a few weeks of its release, it got to be the eighth in the most popular albums on the UK Rock Chart and the Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart; it was the thirtieth. Their following releases were also big hits, and soon, they were making their way to the top. Four years into their formation, they received the Best New Artist nomination at the Grammy Awards, proving that their hard work had not gone unnoticed.

Their style of music is regarded to fall under various categories which include but are not limited to alternative rock, pop rock, pop funk, emo, emo-pop and power pop.

In their thirteen years of performances, Paramore has worked tirelessly to release records that are pleasing to their fans. Their music gets widely accepted on a global level, and they continue to top the charts with their upbeat music. Some of the most celebrated albums to their name include Brand New Eyes, Riot, All We Know Is Falling, After Laughter, Paramour, and Live in The UK, The Final Riot, Singles Club, The Summer Tic and The Holiday Sessions.

Members of the band

The band consists of three members. Hayley Williams is the lead vocalist, and she also plays the piano and keyboards. She has been in the group ever since its formation. Zac Farro was in charge of drums and percussion from 2004 to 2010. After a seven-year break from these duties, he resumed playing them together with keyboards. He is also a vocalist in the band. Taylor York is in charge of the rhythm guitar, backing vocals, keyboards, the lead guitar, percussion, and drums.

Current touring musicians of the band include Justin York, Joey Howard, Joseph Mullen and Logan MacKenzie. Former musicians of the group include Josh Faro, Jeremy Davis, John Hembree, Jason Bynum and Hunter Lamb. Conflicts in the band led to splitting up and soon after the split, Paramore released an album that saw them shoot to the top of the charts in the United Kingdom, proving to be stronger than before.

tour dates in the UK

Paramore will be touring the UK in 2018 starting from 11th January up to 20th January with five appearances. On January 11th, they will be playing at Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, The 02 in London on the 12th, Genting Arena in Birmingham on the 14th, the Manchester Arena on the 19th before finishing their tour with a performance on the 20th in SSE Hydro in Glasgow.

This band has come a long way and achieved so much in such a short time. We can only look forward to more fabulous albums in the future!
